A Community Celebration! Thank You Mount Pleasant Waterworks Commission!The attendees represented an exciting spectrum of supporters for land preservation. From the dedicated MPLC Board members and the Mount Pleasant Waterworks Commissioners to members of Mount Pleasant Town Council and numbers of citizens from near and far. But, the group that brought the most energy to the event where the kids, especially the students from Whitesides Elementary School. The Student Action Council of Whitesides came out early and ready to show their support for this new community project. These children are the future and the act of protecting these natural areas is more for them than anyone. With such a grand showing of enthusiasm it is clear that this new Marsh View Trail has already begun to benefit the community. We look forward to the many opportunities for expanded public enjoyment of this pristine natural area!
